As an Israeli in Beijing, Bite a Pitta is some what of a paradox for me. The place makes miss home and feel at home at the same time. We are talking about a restaurant which serves middle eastern food and in my humble opinion it is the best I have had so far in Beijing and China in general. On the menu you have falafel, Shawarma, hummus, pitta bread and much more. Anyone I have ever taken there liked it a lot. I really like to sit there, especially during the day because it's quite and the light that comes through the big windows is beautiful. They also offer take out and comes in very handy when I need my hummus rush (usually happens on weekends). How to get there Bite a Pitta is very close to NuRenJie (Ladies Street) on the north east of urban Beijing. It's quite far from the subway. We get there by taking the subway to DongZhiMen station (take the south east exit) and then a taxi straight to NuRenJie.
