Kai Bar could have the best place in SanLiTun, if only it were a little bit bigger. Cheap drinks, nice atmosphere and good music. The problem is that there are just too many people over too small a space. It's hard to get to the bar, the dance floor is quite small, and you can barely hear yourself not to mention the people you are talking with. Sometimes it gets a little hard to breathe too with the crowd and smoke. You might find the lounge on the second floor a bit more spacious, you can order drinks there too. One little minus - there is no place to check your coat. Very annoying in the winter. How to get there Kai Bar is in an alley West to SanLiTun Bar Street along with all the other good places there. The best way to get there is to take a taxi to the intersection of SunLiTun and GongTiBeiLu, then walk north in to SanLiTun bar street, turn left, right and then left again and you are there.
