The first time I went to poacher was when a Danish classmate took me there to meet his Danish friends. It was a great night and now I always associate this place with Denmark and Danish girls (ahhh, Denish girls...). This doesn't make any sence to me since from all the place we go to in SanLiTun poachers is probably the one with the most heterogenic crowd and I should associate it with Chinese girls since more than half the crowd are Beijing ren (people of Beijing). In our opinion Poachers is without any doubt the place with best music in SanLiTun area and the crowed seems to agree with us since they are dancing like crazy there. The price for drinks is reasonable (meaning not as cheap as Kai Bar or Shooters), the place is very big and spacious and you can check your coats in the back. The only thing that bothers me in that place are the lights, I find it to be a little dull and dim. How to get there Poacher is across the street from Bar Blue in the alley to the west of SanLiTun bar street. It is better to take a cab to the south entrace of north SanLiTun bar street (on gongtilu - workers stadium rd) and walk from there. See map.
